No thing or happening is ever the same thing that someone says or writes about that thing or happening.

A thing or a happening is a thing. It is a piece of matter or a series of events that occur in something that we call a spatial reality.

What you say about a thing or a happening is: a series of sounds, that you interpret as words with meaning… or symbols, expressed in some medium that you attach an idea to. Those ideas and the thing or the happening are never, ever the same things.

This if very simple but people do not get this… just like they don’t get that time and space do not exist, except in your head.”

[This was recorded weeks ago when I first launched Please, call me Al. Part of this impromptu ramble is me thinking out loud in response to feedback I was receiving for thoughts and ideas I was expressing on the message boards at The Icarus Project.]
